- Sen. Jim Webb, one of the keystone victories in the Democratic wave in 2006, has decided to not seek reelection in 2012. George Allen and his football were seen playing catch in celebration. Politico reports that Democrats are now "eye[ing] Tim Kaine." This is not exactly surprising given the dearth of eligible Democrats to run for the seat. Maybe we'll see a return of Terry McAuliffe.
