But the rebels continued to retreat as the interim council tried to fend off suggestions that al-Qaeda and Hezbollah were among their ranks. **Editor's Note: The idea that both Hezbollah and al-Qaeda are supporting the Libyan rebels is rather curious.**
- Ouattara has seized the capital of Ivory Coast.
- Tom Donahue, head of the powerful U.S. Chamber of Commerce, gave national embarrassment and GOP hopeful Donald Trump a thumbs down.
